Project Chacocente is in constant need of people who can teach the children about science, art or computers.
Maybe your hobby is karate, gardening or carpentry. You could teach our adults and/or children. We love to incorporate new activities into our schedule.
We welcome as volunteers high-school graduates, college students who want to take off a semester, and retirees who would like to share their hobby. Our volunteers have taught preschool, created issues workshops for the women, and taught aerobics to both the men and women.
We don't charge a fee to volunteer with us, and will help you find inexpensive living accommodations. Spanish speakers/students are preferred, but depending on the activity you will share with the families, you may not need much.
